Judge Na’Quella A. Davis
As defined in Rule 2.9 of the Judicial Code of Ethics, Judges are generally not permitted to have private (ex parte) communications, correspondence, or discussions with persons involved (as parties or counsel) in matters pending before the court or which can reasonably be expected to be filed in the court, except when all parties or counsel are present. Parties/counsel should not attempt to have private conversations with the judge regarding a pending or potentially pending matter. If you contact this judge by e-mail, you must copy all interested parties or their counsel, if they are represented. Failure to do so will result in the e-mail being unread and deleted. Copies of all correspondence with the court MUST be sent to all other parties and their counsel.
